Roberto Orellana Wins in Puerto Rico

Popular Chilean singer Roberto Orellana received the prize for Best Album in Christian Music
at the recent awards show “Premios Tu Musica” held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The awards ceremony was held Friday, Aug. 23, at the Sala de Festivales del Centro de Bellas Artes in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Orellana competed in the same category with such singers as Wilkins and Andres Jimenez. Also nominated in the same category
were well-known singers Luis Santiago and Ezequiel Colon.
“I am very proud to represent Christian music to the secular industry. It’s a good kind of proud to be able to stand next to
well-known artists in the world of music and testify that as believers and followers of God we, too, can make good music,”
Roberto Orellana said.
Roberto Orellana is one of the most solid Christian singers in the field of Christian music. At the end of last year Orellana
introduced his newest album at the Sala de Festivales del Centro de Bellas Artes in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The concert was well
attended, encouraging the development of new events.
Roberto is now enjoying one of the best moments of a distinguished musical career. He has been nominated for a Latin Grammy
award in the category of Best Christian Music Album. He is also competing for the “Ritmo Latino” awards in the category of
