At the center of the fall, there was a tree,
And a serpent came to tempt humanity.
They listened, looked and took forbidden fruit.
In doing so, they died there at the root.
Our estrangement came that day, amidst a tree.
At the center of the storm, were many trees,
Cut and hewn by Noah; destined for the seas.
The Ark he built would save the human race
>From the wrath of God, for sin had brought disgrace.
Righteous Noah, saved mankind with trees.
At the center of His birth, so many trees.
Most notable, a manger, that held the God that frees.
The roof, the walls and stalls surrounded Christ.
Though so mundane to men, now cherished beyond price!
The King of Kings lay sleeping, in a little bed of trees.
At the center of His life, so many trees.
A carpenter from Nazareth held heaven?s keys!
He worked to build up lives and make repairs.
To men He made mere homes, to God: heaven?s stairs.
The Son of God began ?the way? with trees.
At the center of his back, there was a tree.
The sinless Son of God, took up a cross for you and me.
For God so loved the world, He gave His Son,
That we might know forgiveness, and with our God be one.
Our Redemption came that day, amidst a tree.
John 14:6 Jesus answered, ?I am the way, and the truth and
the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me.?
