Reggie White Dies Unexpectedly

NFL football star, author, and ordained minister Reggie White, 43, died of a reported heart attack on December 26. White, a defensive end for the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers and one of the NFL’s greatest players, was 43.
White, a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was an All-America at the University of Tennessee. He played a total of 15 years with Philadelphia, Green Bay and Carolina. White retired after the 2000 season as the NFL’s all-time leader in sacks with 198.
White, a 13-time Pro Bowler and NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1987 and 1998, was known as the ”Minister of Defense.” He wrote God’s Playbook, Fighting the Good Fight (both Nelson), and other books.
