Old man Noah, didnt have a clue
how to use an oar, let alone two
God at his door, spoke out of the blue
for God was sore, thus redemption was due
the world bad to the core, many a timber to hew
a plan for the more, too bad just only a few
believed in restore, creatures two by two
did Noah bore, the hatch open no more
caused Noah to be blue, endless rain did pour
at door many Noah knew,to no avail they tore
agony did stew, they wailed and swore
draft the boat drew, muddled lions did roar
and stink and phew, animals every floor
birds donkeys and ewe, there was food for more
plans for many were few, about zero score four
sign of life dove did accrue, land soon in store
many a week then a view, today we finally moor
seeds we need to sow,as always God we adore
promised life anew,by rainbow the Lord swore
no more flood due,a cross next shall He bore
