Rebecca St. James Announces Concert Project

ForeFront Records’ Grammy Award winning and revered international Christian artist, Rebecca St. James, announces the release of her anticipated concert project, Live Worship: Blessed Be Your Name, February 24.
“I’ve had a lot of people come to me at concerts over the years asking, ‘when are you going to do a live praise album since worship is a big part of your concerts,’” explains Rebecca. “I grew up around worship and listening to live worship CDs, so it’s naturally a big part of my concerts. This album is fulfilling a part of my ministry that I’ve hoped to do for some time.”
Live Worship features nine songs including the new studio cut and recent radio release, “The Power Of Your Love.” The album’s concert recordings includes two new songs, “Blessed Be Your Name,” co-written by Matt Redman, and “I Adore You,” in addition to “Lamb Of God,” “Quiet You,” “Let My Words Be Few,” “Above All,” “Here I Am To Worship” and a hidden track, “Shout To The Lord.”
Rebecca continues, “There is something engaging about live worship CDs. Hearing a crowd sing along as we worship God in our cars or at home reminds us of the worldwide family we have and it draws us into worship in a unique way.”
Typically seeing more than 800,000 fans at nearly 150 concerts each year, Rebecca’s Live Worship will be supported by an upcoming “Adoration Tour” with the Newsboys and Jeremy Camp. Beginning Feb. 12 in Norfolk, VA, and running through April 4, audiences will have the opportunity to experience several songs from Live Worship in person as they were recorded for the project. Additionally, international fans will worship with Rebecca beginning in May as she performs throughout European countries France, Ireland, Scotland, England, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Norway and Denmark.
With records sales approaching 2.5 million and a career nine No. 1 Christian radio singles, Rebecca was recently named CCM Magazine’s “2004 Favorite Female Artist” and garnered ChristianMusicToday’s Reader’s Choice Award for “Best Female Artist 2003.” Rebecca has also been named as one of the top 50 evangelists under the age of 40 by Christianity Today, the most influential woman in Christian music by Crosswalk.com and has topped fan polls for Amazon.com, Campus Life, CCM, Release Magazine, KLOVE and AIR1, among others.
