John Tesh, who is known to millions of basketball fans as the composer of hit NBA theme song “Roundball Rock,” is bringing this fan-favorite back with a twist just in time for the NBA Finals. Tesh announces today a contest aptly titled “Rap-Dribble-Dance,” and is reaching out to all rappers, dancers and basketball fans and will award cash prizes to the winners of this unique online competition. Imagine “American Idol” meets “So You Think You Can Dance” meets the NBA and you have Tesh’s “Rap-Dribble-Dance” contest.
To enter, simply go to Tesh.com and click on “Roundball Rock Contest” and download John’s new version of the NBA theme “Roundball Rock Remix.” Then, let your minds, legs and creativity run wild and video your best rap, dance or basketball moves using the “Roundball Rock Remix” as the music bed and submit your entry to John Tesh’s Facebook Fan Page by June 30, 2009. (All entrants must be 13 years of age or older.)
Cash prizes for the “Rap-Dribble-Dance” contest include the top prize of $5,000, two (2) second place prizes of $2,500 each, five (5) third place prizes of $1,000 each and ten (10) fourth place prizes of $500 each.
