Randy Travis On Touched By An Angel
Atlantic recording artist Randy Travis recently garnered two Dove Awards and will be featured on the upcoming season finale episode of Touched By An Angel.
Starring in the season finale, Travis will perform his Dove-Award winning hit “Baptism” on CBS’s Touched By An Angel. Touched By An Angel, featuring Roma Downey, Della Reese and John Dye will highlight Travis in the two-part series. The second half of the series will air Sunday, April 20 at 8 p.m./7 p.m. central time.
Travis, beloved in the country music market made his foray into Christian music this past year through his highly successful Christian market debut, Inspirational Journey, and continues to build his base with Christian music fans world-wide.
Three Grammys, five CMA awards, eight Academy of County Music Awards, 10 American Music Awards, 11 albums, and 21 million units later, Travis now adds two Dove Awards to his earnings. Travis recently walked away with awards for Bluegrass Album for Inspirational Journey and Country Recorded Song for “Baptism” at this year’s 32nd Annual Dove Awards.
