WAY-FM/Huntsville recently continued their summer-long “Change a Child’s Life” campaign with a free concert from Word recording artist Building 429. Nearly 7,000 people came out to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center for the event, each bringing non-perishable food or spare change to help the Child Haven Foster Facility in Cullman, AL. More than $25,000 in food was collected that night (21,000-22,000 items) and $5,057.94 was donated in spare change!
