Point Of Grace Launches Winter Wonderland Tour

Word Records’ multi-Platinum, Grammy nominated and multi-Dove Award winning group, Point Of Grace, announces its 16-city Christmastime tour in support of this year’s best-selling holiday project, Winter Wonderland.

Launching Nov. 30 in Camp Hill, PA and running through Dec. 18, the Winter Wonderland tour features melodies from the all-girl group’s recently released and acclaimed holiday CD of the same name, including “All Is Well,” the celebrated song as performed by Point Of Grace’s Heather Payne on the annual Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith Christmas tours in years’ past. Other favorites includes “O Little Town Of Bethlehem,” “Jingle Bells” and a special “Santa Medley,” among others. In addition to the renowned harmonies of Point Of Grace’s Payne, Shelley Breen, Denise Jones and Leigh Capillino, the Winter Wonderland tour will feature special guest John David Webster who also lends his vocals on the album’s “Let There Be Light.” Winter Wonderland was released on October 4th to critical acclaim.
“It was the perfect time for the tour,” Breen says, “and we were so excited to be able to bring back the warm, nostalgic feeling we all love about Christmas in a CD. So we set out to make an album that people couldn’t resist playing at all their holiday gatherings.”
“One of my favorite moments,” Breen continues, “is the ‘Santa Medley.’ We modeled it after an old Richard Carpenter medley and added three-part, Andrews-sisters harmony to it—all around one mic. We really did this one with our live show in mind, and it’s going to be so much fun on stage because we’ll bring out Frosty and Rudolf and Santa and let the kids come and sing along. It’s so candy cane, but we love it, and we know our fans will, too.”
Winter Wonderland Tour dates posted on our Calendar.
