Cumberland House Publishing is pleased to announce that local radio talk-show host, Phil Valentine, will contract a book with the Nashville publisher. Valentine and Cumberland House plan to sign the publishing contract at 1pm on Friday, February 14.
“I have been impressed for a long time at the wide range of topics that Valentine can discuss intelligently. I think the time is right to put those ideas into a book,” Cumberland House president and publisher, Ron Pitkin, stated. Valentine’s non-fiction title Right From the Heart: The ABC’s of Reality In America is set for release this fall.
“One of the objectives for both parties was to build a win-win relationship in which CHP and Valentine could benefit from initially and long-term,” Pitkin said.
Phil Valentine, a professed Christian, can be heard on Nashville radio station WLAC-AM 1510’s “Phil Valentine Show” Monday thru Friday from 3pm-6pm. The conservative talk-show personality garnered national attention last year during the state budget-crisis by leading Tennesseans in a tax revolt. National Review magazine called “Phil Valentine, a relentless foe of the proposed tax.” Recently, the Sons of the American Revolution awarded Valentine with the Bronze Good Citizenship Medal for his work regarding the tax issue.
Cumberland House Publishing has created a strong presence in the book industry with a New York Times bestseller and numerous critically-acclaimed titles.
