Flicker Records newest artist, Phat Chance is gearing-up for their debut album Without You to
release nationwide on August 28th. To celebrate the release, the band will perform a concert along with Audio Adrenaline in their
hometown area of Winston Salem, NC on Wednesday, August 29th at the First Assembly of God Church at 7 PM. The quintet
melds pop/rock melodies with their self-penned lyrics on the ten-song album, exploring topics like God’s forgiveness, abstinence
and divine protection.
Signed to Flicker Records earlier this year, Phat Chance was discovered by Audio Adrenaline front man and Flicker Records
co-owner Mark Stuart, who was immediately won over by the bands strong live performance and musical talent.
With all five members lending their hand to an instrument and song writing, 14-18 year olds Bryan Nance, Brandon Johnson,
Brent Lain and brothers Dallas and Justin Morgan are ready for the challenges ahead.
“God’s been opening doors for us to play our songs and people have responded far beyond what we thought they would,” said
Nance. “Our job is simple: to tell others what God has done in our lives, to challenge youth to a life of abstinence and purity, and
to show that Christians can have fun. This is a really cool opportunity and we just want to be faithful.”
In support of the album Phat Chance is currently touring on the Summer Jam 2001 tour with Newsong, Anointed, Greg Long, Joy
Williams and others. In September, the band will embark on Newsboys and Audio Adrenaline’s Festival Con Dios tour that will hit
over 15 markets on the West Coast.
Their first single “Sunshine Daylight” is currently going for adds at CHR radio.
