Worship Extreme recording artist Parachute Band brings another helping of Kiwi Praise & Worship music to the United States with their new album, Glorious, which is set to release on October 21. “Almighty God,” the first single from Glorious, debuted at #7 on Christian Radio Weekly¹s Praise & Worship chart (week of October 13) and is also getting adds at Adult Contemporary, Inspirational and CHR formats.
Glorious, following on the heels of the band’s successful 2002 release, Amazing, marks the New Zealand-based band’s fifth album. The music from the project ranges from traditional ballads to full-on groove and allows the band to adapt to many different performance environments including churches, festivals and conferences. Parachute Band¹s versatile music is popular in churches throughout the world and songs such as “Everything That Has Breath,” “All My Life,” “Complete,” “Amazing” and “All the Earth” are fast becoming worship standards.

Parachute Band, formed in 1996 as the house band to lead worship at New Zealand¹s Parachute Music Festival, has garnered numerous accolades since their debut release in 1997. The band has received five Gold albums and won three New Zealand Music & Entertainment Awards for Gospel Album of the Year (for Love in 2000, Always and Forever in1998 and You Alone in 1997).
