Operation Christmas Child
Prepares to Deliver More than 4 million “Shoe Box”Christmas Gifts in 2000.
Last year, over 3 million shoeboxes were delivered overseas to children by Operation Christmas Child. Since 1993 more than 90 million toys have been delivered to needy children in 80 countries and on 6 continents.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritans Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization based in Boone, NC and headed by Franklin Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham.
To participate in Operation Christmas Child, fill and empty shoe box with gifts and take it to the nearest drop-off location. November 13-20th is National Collection Week for shoe boxes.
