For six years, OBEDIENCE has been marching at the breach and standing in the gap as pioneers in reggae with Latin roots. The fusion of reggae roots, ballad, and other rhythms such as Soca, Ska, and Dance-Hall, with a Latin touch, is the key for their original sound and unique style. The music produced by Obedience is directed to all generations, races and cultures, with a message of new life, hope and obedience. With the release of its first album, Obedience hopes to reach outside the frontiers of the
Caribbean Sea and present their unique Christian music alternative to the world.
History:
Obedience was founded in 1995 by Randy Freeman vocalist, composer and bandleader. Born in Tortola (British
Virgin Islands), he lived the greater part of his life on the island of Nevis. At the age of 12 Randy immigrated to
Puerto Rico where years after he accepted Jesus Christ as the One GOD and his exclusive Saviour. During his
first years in college (University of Puerto Rico), he began experimenting with music and durning that time
Obedience was born. Since then, Obedience has grown to be a popular Christian band with a great impact on Puerto Rican Youth.

Por seis años ODEDIENCE ha estado militando en la brecha como pioneros en el género del reggae en español.
Su fusión de reggae roots, balada y otros ritmos como (Soca, Ska, Dance-Hall, …) junto a un toque latino son la
clave de su sonido original y estilo particular.
La Música de Obedience esta dirigida a todas las generaciones, razas y culturas, con un mensaje de vida nueva,
esperanza y obediencia. Con el lanzamiento de su primera obra discográfica Obedience espera trascender las
fronteras del Caribe y presentar al mundo mas y mejores alternativas musicales.
Historia:
OBEDIENCE fue fundado en el 1995 por Randy Freeman vocalista, compositor y director de la banda. Nacido en
Tórtola (islas vírgenes británicas), vivió gran parte de su niñez en la isla de Nevis. A la edad de 12 años emigra a Puerto Rico donde 5 años mas tarde aceptó a Jesucristo como el único Dios y su exclusivo salvador. Durante sus
primeros años como estudiante de la Universidad de Puerto Rico decide experimentar con la música dando lugar a
la formación de la Banda Obedience . Desde entonces, la banda ha crecido para ser uno de los talentos en la música
sacra de mayor impacto sobre la juventud de Puerto Rico.
