Reunion recording artist NewSong is slated to be featured on the “CBS All-American Thanksgiving Day Parade.” The “Aqua” parade, along with parades from Detroit and Hawaii, is slated to air during CBS’ coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade beginning at 8:00 a.m. (CST) on November 22. NewSong’s first full-length holiday recording, The Christmas Shoes, will release October 23. Jaci Velasquez will also appear on the annual “CBS All-American Thanksgiving Day Parade” show where she will perform “Feliz Navidad” from her new album, “Christmas” (Word).

After nearly a month’s worth of sold-out concerts in South Africa, Kenya, Holland, Scotland, England, and Switzerland, WaterShed/Essential recording artist Bebo Norman returned to the U.S. for a 60-city endeavor, backed by a full band, on his home turf. An extension of his three-plus weeks abroad, Norman’s Big Blue Sky Tour picked up guest artists Shaun Groves (Rocketown Records) and Katy Hudson (Red Hill Records) before sweeping churches and colleges across the country.
Matt Brouwer visited New York City last week leading worship in schools and churches, and making meals for clean-up workers at ground zero. While there, he did interviews with WAWZ and Sirius Satellite Radio. Matt’s song “Sanity” jumped 3 places to #17 this week on CHR.
