Reunion recording artist NewSong is slated to be featured on the “CBS All-American Thanksgiving Day Parade.” The “Aqua” parade, along with parades from Detroit and Hawaii, is slated to air during CBS’ coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade beginning at 8:00 a.m. (CST) on November 22. NewSong’s first full-length holiday recording, The Christmas Shoes, will release October 23. Jaci Velasquez will also appear on the annual “CBS All-American Thanksgiving Day Parade” show where she will perform “Feliz Navidad” from her new album, “Christmas” (Word).
Steven Curtis Chapman’s album “Declaration” debuted at No. 1 at Christian retail and No. 14 on “Billboard” magazine’s Top 200 chart of all U.S. album sales. It’s the best-selling artist’s biggest debut ever as well as Sparrow Label Group’s biggest first-week debut and highest debut chart position ever.
Dove-Award winning and pop piano recording sensation, Jim Brickman, recently performed his first concert of the Simple Things tour at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville, TN, as well as signing autographs at Borders Books in Brentwood. Provident Music Distribution is distributing both the Simple Things album along with Brickman’s upcoming Hymns project, slated to bow in the Spring, to its Christian Retail and Gift Market.
tobyMac’s debut release, ‘Momentum,’ will hit stores on November 6th. Look for tobyMac to grace the cover of GMA Today’s Winter issue. You’ve all seen him, now you can hear him. tobyMac’s son, Truett, makes a guest appearance on his dad’s new album. Also making an appearance on the album is friend, Kirk Franklin. tobyMac’s current single, “Somebody’s Watching Me,” can be found in the #1 position on R&R’s Rhythmic chart.
Tait’s current single, “Loss for Words,” is Hitbound on the CCM Updates CHR and AC charts.
Rebecca St. James ’ new single “Wait For Me” is number 1 on CCM Update’s CHR top 20. Rebecca is continuing to work on her upcoming worship album in between “Wait for Me” tour dates. The album is slated for a March release. So far, Rebecca has completed rough mixes of eight songs and is very happy with the direction of the album so far.
Stacie Orrico’s next project, ‘Christmas Wish,’ will hit stores next week. Look for Stacie to kick off her Christmas Wish Mall Tour on November 3rd. Stacie’s current single, “Stay True,” is #14 on the CCM Rhythmic chart.

After nearly a month’s worth of sold-out concerts in South Africa, Kenya, Holland, Scotland, England, and Switzerland, WaterShed/Essential recording artist Bebo Norman returned to the U.S. for a 60-city endeavor, backed by a full band, on his home turf.  An extension of his three-plus weeks abroad, Norman’s Big Blue Sky Tour picked up guest artists Shaun Groves (Rocketown Records) and Katy Hudson (Red Hill Records) before sweeping churches and colleges across the country. 
Matt Brouwer visited New York City last week leading worship in schools and churches, and making meals for clean-up workers at ground zero. While there, he did interviews with WAWZ and Sirius Satellite Radio. Matt’s song “Sanity” jumped 3 places to #17 this week on CHR.
