“NEW VISION FOR THE MARKETPLACE,” a Christian business person’s event, is scheduled for 9 am to 3 pm on April 21, 2001 at the Belmont Church Fellowship Hall in Nashville. This seminar takes a unique approach to seeing business and the work environment as a platform for the Gospel rather than a hindrance. For those who attended the last NEW VISION FOR THE MARKETPLACE event last March, you know what a powerful and encouraging time it was.
The day will feature area businessmen Bill Lee, Rob McDonald, Charlie Green, Mark Bourgeois, and Tod Bell as facilitators. Bill Lee is the CEO of the Lee Company. Rob McDonald is President of the Maryland Group Advertising Agency. Mark Bourgeois is a Director of the Global Institutional Private Equity Group for UBS Warburg (the world’s
largest asset manager.). Charlie Green, who is President of his own company, also carries credentials as a CFO
of a major healthcare company and tenures with Hertz Corporation and ITT. He is also a past treasurer and
Board of Directors member of the International Christian Chamber of Commerce.
Our first meeting in March of 2000 was an awesome event. We had nothing but positive comments on the day,
and many of the people attending asked us when were going to schedule another so they could bring some of
their friends and co-workers. The purpose of the day is “a one-day gathering to encourage, gain vision, strength
and passion for individuals to see their workplace become a place of influence for Christ.” We are also
developing ways for people to remain in contact with each other to encourage each other in following Christ in
their work place.
“NEW VISION FOR THE MARKETPLACE” is open to anyone who wishes to attend. You may register by April 14 by

Registration includes lunch and materials.
