New Day Church Celebrates 7 Years
New Day Church in West Nashville celebrated its seventh anniversary today at the Bellevue Community Center. Pastor Jason Dean wrapped up his almost two-month series of football parallels to the Christian’s walk with his sermon on The Importance of the Touchdown Celebration.
Dean emotionally named every member as he talked about celebrating what God has done in the past seven years before concluding his sermon. He concluded by emphasizing The Greatest Celebration of All Time, reminding us we are all in the game with a playbook and a coach… and we play offense.
Some 30-plus people were on hand for Dean’s message on how the church should be more like a football game, before enjoying a fellowship meal of barbecue and all the sides… a seven-year touchdown celebration of sorts.
New Day Church in West Nashville meets on Sundays on the second floor of the Bellevue Community Center on Highway 70 S. at 10:00 A.M. Currently there is also a Wednesday night study at the Hampton Inn on Coley Davis. Visitors are always welcome. Find New Day Church on Facebook here.
