WAY-FM has joined forces with the Crisis Pregnancy Support Center in Nashville to host Nashville’s Largest Baby/Maternity Shower. Help WAY-FM and the Crisis Pregnancy Support Center collect baby items during the first 3 weekends in October.
Items needed include:
Newborn clothing
Preemie clothing
Preemie diapers
Large-size diapers (22 pounds and up)
Crib sheets
Baby beds that meet safety regulations (Rails must be close enough together that a coke can could not fir through them.)
Infant car seats
Infant/Children’s coats
Large baby-themed gift bags
The World’s Largest Baby Shower follows a tradition of local radio stations hosting similar events. On April 20, 1996, WNAZ Radio sposored Nashville’s Largest Baby Shower to support Crisis Pregnancy Center, and Christian Activities Magazine was on hand to support the event and to help when items were collected at First Baptist Church Downtown Nashville.
