Michael W. Smith is working on a new book, a follow up to Old Enough to Know.
Rob Frazier is going to Italy in October on a mission trip where he will be taking his music and the gospel to the bars of Northern Italy. Organizer Patti Franklin states that one of the tour highlights will be when Rob joins Tom Lane in a club named after Dante’s Divine Comedy. The club has three floors named respectively: Paradise, Purgatory and Hades. And where will Rob be performing? That’s right — in Hades!
Petra launches their Unseen Power–20 Years of Rock Tour, featuring the stage and lighting techniques of Jim Lenahan, best known for his work with Tom Petty, Stevie Nicks and Bob Dylan.
David Mullen is recently back in town after a stay in LA writing with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers as well as other popular writers from the “secular” stage. See this issue’s interview with David for more news.
Mark Bell announces the innovative Adventures in Agapeland tour for children. This creative musical event includes many favorite characters such as Psalty the singing songbook and Sandi Patti’s Friendship Company. Mark is planning a Nashville date in January. Check coming issues for more details.
