Singer/songwriter JJ Heller and her husband Dave will be sharing music and stories with Monica M. Schmelter, host of the popular daily television program "Bridges." During the "Bridges" episode, the husband and wife team will speak about JJ¹s upcoming new album Only Love Remains and perform "Love Me" and the title song from the project. The show will air at 9:30 a.m. CST on November 10, 2006 in the Nashville, Tenn. market.
11/1/6 Lipscomb University’s second annual Lighting of the Green ceremony will once again feature a special performance by Amy Grant along with Lipscomb’s choruses. The event will also include refreshments, Lelan Statom, WTVF meteorologist, as the master of ceremonies and Seth Cantrell, Lipscomb student and a Marine who fought in Iraq, lighting the Christmas tree. The original Nashville Star Search - Trowbridge Symposium enters its new season at Gaylord Entertainment Center. Scheduled for July 20 - 23 2007, the event is Nashville's oldest career workshop and artist showcase event for all styles of music. Songwriters, singers, and bands compete for prizes and are judged by industry representatives from record labels, publishing companies, and talent agencies. The Gospel Music Association (GMA) today announced that the 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards (www.doveawards.com) will be presented on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 (8:00-10:00 p.m. CST) at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn., hosted by Dove-winning artists Natalie Grant, Brian Littrell and Donnie McClurkin and broadcast in national syndication during the month of May.
Superstars Amy Grant and Vince Gill were recently chosen as the first celebrity couple to participate in Ladies Home Journal’s (LHJ) “At Home” feature. The feature appears in the November issue of LHJ. The eight page layout features gorgeous photos of the couple inside their Nashville home as well as their beautifully landscaped backyard. Both Gill and Grant spent time talking with Ladies Home Journal about their marriage, children and careers, profiled in a lengthy feature within the photo spread. Last week Grant released her first live project in 25 years, the retrospective CD and also DVD, “Time Again Amy Grant Live.”
