Journeys Backyard Barbeque Tour wraps up its national tour with a stop in greater Nashville on Saturday, June 16 in the JCPenney parking lot outside Cool Springs Galleria (1800 Galleria Blvd., Franklin,TN). This free interactive event will hit five select cities, featuring live music performances, and appearances by top national athletes. Pro athletes from the Adio skate team, including Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun White, and film and MTV star Bam Margera, will fly through the air in gravity-defying demonstrations of the best of skateboard, and freestyle motocross in a 60,000 square-foot “alternative sports playground” of ramps and jumps set up outside the mall. On the tour’s mobile music stage, some of the best alternative music artists from the greater Nashville area will compete in the “Converse Battle of the Bands,” for cash prizes -- with free live concerts throughout the day, as well as a free concert at 6:00 by six-time Grammy nominated, multi-platinum artist “P.O.D.”

The Katinas will be in Nashville on Sunday May 27th at 7:00 pm at Christ Church, 15354 Old Hickory Blvd., Nashville, TN 37211 for a benefit concert to help fund their first official missions trip back to their home island, American Samoa. Come prepared to see the vision God has given them, to open your hearts and be a part of supporting them in this mission!
