Amy Grant and Vince Gill performed with famous actor, comedian and banjo player Steve Martin tonight at the Grand Ole Opry. They were joined by John McEuen of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Martin performed songs from his new album, "The Crow: New Songs for the Five-String Banjo," Martin's first music CD. From the Opry stage, Steve Martin talked about one of his earliest comedy gigs at Nashville's Exit/In in the 1970s.

5/29/09 On Saturday, May 30, recent Dove-Award winners Hillsong United will rock The Curb Events Center at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Building 429 joins Operation Ethan, taking place May 30 in Cross Plains, Tenn. at Kilgore Park to financially aide Ethan Bibb, an 8-year-old boy who is battling Medulloblastoma, a cancer of the brain and spinal cord.

Christian country artist Clay Dustin will have a booth at CMA Fan Fest this year at the R.O.P.E. Spectacular on June 11th.

5/26/9 Nashville's Amy Grant and Vince Gill recently announced plans to host an evening of music at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, on Monday, June 8, 2009, at 8 p.m., honoring wounded warriors and launching the nationwide Challenge America initiative. Special musical guests slated to join Grant and Gill at the Monday night Kennedy Center launch event include Michael McDonald, Alison Krauss, Darius Rucker, Melinda Doolittle and Mac McAnally with NY Times bestselling author Stephen Mansfield.

5/20/09 Amy Grant will appear alongside Kathie Lee and Hoda on tomorrow’s edition of Today on NBC. The singer will discuss her latest EP titled "She Colors My Day" and her partnership with the skincare brand philosophy.

5/19/09 With A Little Help From My Friends, which takes place on June 9th, will celebrate the 42nd anniversary of The Beatles' Sergeant Pepper album. Proceeds from ticket sales will support the W.O. Smith Nashville Community Music School. Performers include Phil Keaggy, The WannaBeatles, and Apple legend/author Ken Mansfield.
