Nashville News: June

Gotee recording artist Liquid performed for over 100 inmates at Nashville’s CCA Metro Prison this past Friday, June 16th. As part of the Men of Valor program, Liquid performed a seven-song set and shared his personal testimony of growing up in North Philadelphia, an area known predominantly for an abundance of drugs, violence and poverty; an area simply called The Badlands. He also spent time with the inmates in a Q&A session after the performance.
6/11/6 Dove Award winner and Grammy nominee Phil Keaggy and National Finger Picking Guitar Champion Muriel Anderson will be joined by acoustic folk/rocker Jeremy Casella for an intimate evening of music entertainment. The June 10, 2006 concert will take place at Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant, 20 Fourth Avenue South in Franklin, Tenn. Doors open at 7 p.m. CST for dinner; the show begins at 8:30 p.m. CST.
