Howard Publishing is delighted to announce that Scotty Smith, the pastor of Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee, has been signed to do his first solo book project. The book, due to release in July, is entitled Objects of His Affection.
In 1997 Smith co-authored Unveiled Hope with Michael Card. Two years later, he and his close friend Stephen Curtis Chapman co-wrote the book Speechless to coincide with the release of Chapman’s now platinum-selling recording, Speechless. The title for Smith’s Howard Publishing book, Objects of His Affection, is taken from a popular sermon series delivered by Smith at Christ Community. Now thousands around the country will be able to experience the teaching that motivates thousands each Sunday.”
