Mozelee to Perform at Parachute 03

The up and coming Central Auckland rock band Mozelee will be performing at Parachute 03 over Auckland’s
anniversary weekend (January 24th – 27th). Forging a solid acoustic rock sound this four-piece originals band
formed in February 2002. Mozelee is the combined talents of Marc Hamilton – lead vocals and guitar, Toby
Kelleher (Byron Kelleher’s younger brother) – guitar, Earl Edgar – drums, and David Kelly – bass. They are
currently recording their self-funded first single, due for release in January this year.
The band placed second in the North Shore regional finals of the 2002 Battle of the Bands, won the Primal Band
Battle in November and received overwhelming response to substantial gigging around Auckland last year.
Mozelee displays high-level raw energy on stage driven by passion and emotion with a desire to connect with
people through positive messages in their music. Marc Hamilton, spokesperson for Mozelee says they’re really
excited about their performance debut at the Parachute 03 and are looking forward to exposing many people to
their music.
“We see Parachute 03 as a fantastic opportunity to connect with thousands of people through our music and what
we have to say, and we’re amping to give it all we’ve got,” Hamilton said.
