Oprah has been exploiting a lesbian couple on her show, upping her already gargantuan ratings by billing their pregnancy as a “male pregnancy.” The woman (formerly Tracey) who now goes by the name Thomas, had some but not all of her female organs removed and male sex organs attached. She now considers herself a man. When she was artificially inseminated, she became pregnant.
One of the most ironic moments of the interview was when Thomas said that as children, we are “not born with intolerance” — this from who the woman who was not born with male sex organs but considers herself a man.
In the world of Thomas, it is not wrong to alter the body God gave us in the futile attempt to change the gender we were born with, but not approving of this “sex change” operation and subsequent “male pregnancy” is considered intolerance. How intolerant of her.
As the old timers say: you can’t turn a sow’s ear into a silk purse. You can sew some beads on a pig’s ear and call it a silk purse, but that doesn’t make it so.
Thumbs down to Oprah for promoting, endorsing, and exploiting this ridiculous situation and trying to legitimize it on her show. This is the kind of foolish fare I am coming to expect from the big “O.”
