I’m sure you have at least spent a few minutes or maybe even hours stressing over circumstances beyond your control.
I have worried entirely too much about a lot of things that I am learning to hand over to God. The Bible says that if we believe in God then we should rely on him to meet our needs. How can any one of us resolve a single thing by worrying? What does that say about our faith in God?
Matthew 6 (33-34) says:“The thing you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other things you need will be given to you. So don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will have its own worries. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
God desires for us to enjoy serving Him. He says that there will be trials; however, we shouldn’t let such situations steal our joy. So relax, and live in the peace and understanding that our God cares for His children.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4: 6-7)
