~ Life.Church Hendersonville distributes relief supplies ~

The heart of our church continues to be with our community as we work together to begin the rebuilding process. It might feel overwhelming, but I know God is with us every step of the way.

Today, we will be distributing relief and clean-up supplies at Life.Church Hendersonville. If you or someone you know is in need, please spread the word so we can get these supplies into the hands of the people in our community who need them most. Our Global Mission Partner, Convoy of Hope, is bringing these supplies to our community to offer relief and support, and you helped make that possible through your generosity.

Finally, let us know how can we pray for you specifically. Whatever it is you’re going through—nothing is too big or too small for God’s heart. We’re honored to stand in prayer with you.

Life.Church Hendersonville was scheduled to start their Christmas at the Movies series on Sunday. Instead, the church sent out this message in response to power outages from the tornadoes and high winds on Saturday.

I know we are all still reeling from
last night’s devastating tornadoes and severe weather. While our staff members are all safe, we know this might not be the case for you, your family, or your loved ones. I want you to know God is with you. And as your church, we’re here to support you.

Due to the continued power outages, our building is closed today, so all services at Life.Church Hendersonville will be online only.

Whatever you’re feeling—fear, loss, uncertainty—I invite you to draw near to God and surround yourself with others who want to love you and carry your burdens with you. We will keep you updated with the latest information about Switch this week, services next weekend, and ways we can serve our neighbors in the days and weeks ahead.

Finally, please join us in praying for our community. If you or someone you know needs prayer, we want to hear from you and pray with you during this time.

I pray these words from the book of Psalms comfort you today.

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:18 NIV
