On Saturday, January 13, members of the TennesseeTAGS (TAGS stands for “The Andy Griffith Show”) internet group will meet at The Old Country Store in Jackson, Tennessee at 1:00 PM. Members from Nashville, Memphis and Jackson will be meeting for lunch to fellowship with other Mayberry fans, to discuss “The Andy Griffith Show” and to share show memorabilia.
TennesseeTAGS is an internet group for fans of “The Andy Griffith Show” who live in Tennessee and who want to exchange news and info about “The Andy Griffith Show” with other fans across the state. The group meets in Jackson at least once every year.
Topics will include upcoming Mayberry events for 2007 and the passing of several favorite Mayberry cast and crew members in 2006 including Don Knotts. Author and Mayberry tribute artist Kathryn Darden (who plays Goober’s girlfriend Flora Malherbe at various Mayberry events across the country) will also be on hand to autograph copies of her book The Mayberry Poem – A Tribute to Mayberry
