Down” became the first Gospel single to crossover to the #1 spot on the
mainstream Dance charts. Throughout her entire career, Tramaine Hawkins has
experienced tremendous success in the Gospel and mainstream music markets.
She has won two Grammies and shared the stage with such luminaries as Carlos
Santana and James Brown. Watch out for her upcoming release on Gospo Centric

a new generation.

with the world. Her artistically innovative music draws upon cultures from
around the world and calls listeners to join together, despite differences.

beats, Native American rhythms, and Celtic tunes in an ear-catching medley.
Mitch McVicker
Singer/songwriter Mitch McVicker went down in GMA history for his co-writing
effort with Rich Mullins that won him a Dove Award in 1999 for the moving
song “My Deliverer.” Now he is up to something fresh with his sophomore
release entitled Chasing the Horizon, in which his folk-pop tunes come alive.
Sierra
Acclaimed Pamplin Music recording group Sierra is hard at work recording
their 2001 release. The highly anticipated album, entitled Journey, will be
Sierra’s fourth and most compelling work yet as they demonstrate the vocal
tightness that these three women have come to be known for.
Woody Rock
Founding member of the multi-platinum-selling mainstream R&B quartet Dru
Hill, Woody Rock has turned the tables with his move from secular to Gospel
music. Woody’s debut Gospel release Soul Music is anticipated this summer on

melodies and cameo appearances by hot artists. Woody Rock says that, for
him, Gospel music is the true soul music.

perception of Christian music by reaching a cross-cultural audience with the
gospel of Jesus Christ.

returns to the Christian music scene with the release of her second album on
Pamplin Records. Due to hit stores on August 7, the majority of the songs
