About the Film

Brotherhood: A Cinematic Musical tells the story of two next-door neighbors whose lives become deeply intertwined. Jon (Elliott) is a lifelong American citizen, while Fabián (Martínez) is a Mexican immigrant who has spent more than a decade waiting for a resolution to his U.S. asylum application. As the men and their families navigate uncertainty, they are challenged to see one another beyond labels and rediscover what it means to be neighbors, Americans, and human beings.

Blending original music with an intimate, character-driven narrative, the film explores themes of connection, identity, compassion, and faith. It features 13 original musical numbers written by Boothe and emphasizes emotional storytelling over political rhetoric. The film will launch in select theaters on October 9, 2026.

The Love Your Neighbor Tour’s Nashville stop on September 8 offers a rare opportunity to experience live music, hear directly from the creators, and get an early look at Brotherhood: A Cinematic Musical before its October theatrical release. Fans of meaningful storytelling, original music, and conversations about faith and human connection will find this intimate evening both inspiring and timely.
