The Lipscomb University Department of Theater presents The Rivals by Richard Brinsley Sheridan Sept. 18-21 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Theater, located at 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.
“The Rivals is an 18th century comedy classic, concerning rivals for the romantic attention of a young girl,” said Larry Brown, professor of communication and theater director. “It has been popular on the English and American stage for over 200 years.”
Admission is free. Performances are open to the public, and everyone is invited to attend. No tickets or reservations are required, but arrive early because seating is limited.
