Lipscomb University presents ‘Earnest in Love’

The Lipscomb University Theater Department will perform the 1960s musical “Earnest in Love” Nov. 11-14 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Theater, on the campus located at 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.
Admission is free. The performances are open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.
“Earnest in Love” is the musical version of Oscar Wilde’s comedy “The Importance of Being Earnest,” a famous satire of Victorian life and values. The musical is written by Lee Pockriss and Anne Croswell and is published by Music Theater International.
Set in Victorian times in London, two men disguise themselves as an alter ego named Earnest.  The two try to pass themselves off in order to capture the hearts of their dream girls.
The musical is directed by Deb Holloway.
