Lipscomb University’s Department of Music will host
a Christmas Madrigal Dinner on Dec. 1 at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center,
3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.
The event is open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.
Tickets for the dinner are $18 per person. The deadline for reserving
tickets is Nov. 26. Seating is limited.
There will be a traditional English banquet including the Boar’s
Head, wassail, and a flaming dessert. The evening will include performances
by the Lipscomb University Early Music Consort, the David Lipscomb Middle
School Chorus, a guitar soloist, an eight-year-old violinist, strolling
minstrels, a jester, a juggler, and a wizard. Appearances will be made by
the Lord of the Hall, Nostradamus, and Father Christmas along with many
other surprises.
