Lipscomb University will host its first annual Fall Fellowship, a devotional series focusing on the theme of “Serving Our Savior,” Nov. 29-30 at 8 p.m. in Collins Alumni Auditorium, on the campus, located at 3901 Granny White Pik, Nashville.
The Fall Fellowship is a joint effort between Lipscomb University’s Campus Ministry and Sigma Omega Sigma (SOS). Keith Lancaster, Madison Church of Christ, will be the worship leader for the event, and Keith Parker, Hendersonville Church of Christ, will be the speaker during the series.
“The main reason we are putting this event on is because we started the club with the purpose of ‘serving our savior,’” said Ryan Smith, SOS chaplain. “We’re a social club, but we’re much more than that … we’re Christians. As Christians, we have a mission. That mission is the spread the Gospel both locally and abroad. This event is one way of bringing people to Christ locally.”
The event is free and is focused towards college-age students. However, everyone is invited and encouraged to attend. For more information, call 615.289.6742 or e-mail Smith at Smithrn@lipscomb.edu.
