Lipscomb Presents the Meridian Arts Ensemble

The Lipscomb University Artist Series presents the Meridian Arts Ensemble Feb. 19 at 8 p.m. in Shamblin Theatre, located in the Student Center, 3901 Granny White Pike, Nashville.
The Meridian Arts Ensemble, featuring five brass players and one percussionist, perform an innovative, multi-genre repertoire from Frank Zappa to J.S. Bach, and from Renaissance and Baroque music to Afro-Cuban dance styles – to name a few.
Founded in 1987, the Meridian Arts Ensemble has captivated audiences all over the world, from Carnegie Hall to the Cologne Philharmonic to Tokyo’s Suntory Hall. MAE has performed on public televisions’ Live from Lincoln Center and has been featured on national Public Radio’s Weekend Edition and on St. Paul Sunday Morning.

Admission for the Lipscomb University Artist Series is $7 or free for anyone with a Lipscomb I.D. card. The events are open to the public and everyone is invited to attend.
