Alejandro Alonso, a pioneer in Hispanic contemporary
Christian music, recently released his newest
recording, “Cicatrices de Amor” (Scars of Love). True
to his trademark of excellent guitar playing, it is a
blend of blues, jazz, rock and ballad adorned by
Alejandro´s unique voice. The album aspires to lead its listeners to a place of surrender and worship
before the Lord. One song, “Persecuted and
Afflicted”, based on Hebrews 11, is a tribute to
missionaries in the field who have fearlessly gone
into dangerous places to carry the gospel. This CD is
to be released in English sometime this summer.www.alejandroalonso.com
