LastPageFirst in concert at Living Word Church in Ontario, NY

A crowd of faithful and energetic fans gathered at the Living Word Assembly of God Church in Ontario, NY to send power pop/punk rockers LastPageFirst off to join the west coast leg of the Extreme Tour.
Against a medieval castle stage backdrop used for the church’s VBS, the band kicked off their set with fan favorites “Believe It” and “Hard to Swallow”, leading into their latest single, “Some Sweet Story” and LPF standard “This Attitude”. Guitarist Nate Gregory and bassist Mike Tandle used every inch of available space on stage to entertain the crowd with choreographed jumps and turns, making their high-energy antics look effortless. Keeping time behind the drum set was percussionist James Longstreet.
It wouldn’t be an LPF show without the band’s standard cover of “The Gummi Bear” cartoon song, during which lead singer and guitarist Jeremy Call tossed bags of gummi bears into the audience. The band rounded out the set with “Take It To Heart”, “A Song For You” and their punked out cover of “Mony Mony”.
Opening the show was Buffalo’s modern rock act Elektromat, fronted by Chris Lucas, whose outstanding vocals and mesmerizing stage presence captivated the audience. Also performing were area acts Given The Chance and Lived To Die.
