Keith & Kristyn Getty – Bridging Worlds

Irish modern hymnwriters Keith & Kristyn Getty have recently appeared at major events in both Europe and the United States, including the 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards. The Gettys performed “In Christ Alone,” co-written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend, during the Pre-Telecast ceremony of the Dove Awards, held April 25 at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House.
In early April, Keith & Kristyn Getty were featured during the Word Alive Spring Harvest festival in Skegness, England, the largest Christian conference in Europe. The Gettys will be returning to the United Kingdom and Ireland in the fall of 2008 for 10 concert performances, part of a multi-continent tour.
Also this spring, Keith & Kristyn Getty had the opportunity to share their modern hymns with attendees of the Evangelical Press Association annual convention, held in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
In addition, “In Christ Alone,” recorded by Natalie Grant, Avalon and the Newsboys, among others, and included on more than 100 recordings to date, recently reached the top of the CCLI chart in the United Kingdom. The hymn is featured on Keith & Kristyn Getty’s U.S. debut recording, In Christ Alone, currently available exclusively through Family Christian Stores. Produced by Keith Getty and John Andrew Schreiner (Fernando Ortega, City On A Hill), In Christ Alone also includes the anthem, “The Power of the Cross,” written by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend.
