Following last week’s release of their third studio album, Roots, Dove Award-winning Gotee recording artist The Katinas will headline a string of events in Nashville this weekend. The group will be featured at “Faith & Family Night” with the Nashville Predators NHL team on Saturday, October 18, at 7 p.m. at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. In addition to performing the national anthem and a post-game concert following the Predators vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets, The Katinas will also provide music during the game’s intermissions.
Earlier on Saturday, The Katinas are scheduled to perform a mini-concert as part of the “Music At The Mills” concert series at Opry Mills mall in Nashville. Sponsored by 94 FM “The Fish,” Bible Factory Outlet and Opry Mills, the concert will begin at 1 p.m. at the Entertainment Stage. Concluding their series of Nashville events, The Katinas will headline a free concert on Sunday, October 19, at 6 p.m. at Two Rivers Baptist Church.
In promotion of these events, viewers in the middle Tenessee area can catch The Katinas on Friday’s broadcast of “Talk of the Town,” on WTVF Channel 5, Nashville’s CBS affiliate. The show airs live from 12:30-1:30 p.m., and The Katinas are slated to perform their new Christian AC single, “Changed,” in addition to an interview.
Roots released October 7 and includes a free limited-edition Christmas EP featuring The Katinas’ versions of “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” “Mary, Did You Know?” “Joy To The World” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”
