Sent away all my pain.
He put his arms around me.

He put a stop to my destruction.
I’m not the man I used to be.
Lost in bonds of sin and grief.
Now he set my spirit free.
He’s known me from my birth you see.
Even before, He said it’s true.
How patient was His love to wait.
Now He patiently waits for you.
The Father sent His one true love.
To earth as flesh and bone.
To comfort us and give us hope.
So we’d never be alone.
A love so great we’d never known.
From the Father, by the Son.
He loves us all in this same perfect way.
