1/9/4 Saturday, January 17th, Bible Factory Outlet and 94 fm The FISH present the FREE “Music at the Mills” concert series. Back by popular demand to the Entertainment Center Stage at Opry Mills is Point of Grace. This time they are hosting a special salute to Mercy Ministries. Some of their special friends will be joining them on stage including comedian Chonda Pierce. The event starts at 1:00 PM.
GMA Week begins Sunday, April 25 and concludes on Wednesday, April 28 with the Dove Awards at the Grand Ol’ Opry House in Nashville. All media are responsible for setting up their own artist interviews. The Dove Awards have changed from Thursday to Wednesday night.

Vestal Goodman, the “Queen of Gospel Music,” 74, died Dec. 27 from complications of flu. In her legendary career she won many awards and was a founding member of the Gospel Music Assoc. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. New Year’s Day at Christ Church in Nashville; memorial service begins at 1 p.m. New Year’s Day.
