Integrity Music worship leader, songwriter and recording artist Israel Houghton will be featured Easter Morning on the national broadcast of CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING. The segment will be on Sunday, April 4 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. ET.
In a segment called “AMEN!” Sunday Morning correspondents offer a sampling of Gospel music today talking with performers including Houghton and CeCe Winans.
Correspondents from CBS visited Houghton in his hometown of Houston, Texas at Lakewood Church where he also serves as a worship pastor. Lakewood pastor Joel Osteen was interviewed for the segment about Houghton.
In addition to his career as worship leader and recording artist, Houghton is a spokesman for international relief agency World Vision.
