LIFE@WORK Hires John Styll and Jerry Charles
John Styll, founder of “CCM Magazine” and chairman of the Gospel Music Associatio, is now publisher of “The Life@Work Journal.” Jerry Charles, another former CCM Communications exec, has joined the magazine as circulation and operations VP. The publishing operations have moved to the Nashville area. The Life@Work Co. will retain its corporate office in Fayetteville, AR.
WORD to Distribute Daywind
Word Distribution has signed a long-term, worldwide distribution agreement with Daywind Music Group. The first two releases under the new agreement are LordSong’s “Day Three” and Gold City’s “Pressed Down, Shaken Together, Running Over.” The agreement also launches a new Daywind print division. New Day will continue to distribute Daywind soundtracks.
Clements Appointed President of THINK BIG, INC.
Think Big, Inc. announces a key addition to the foundation
of their leadership team with the appointment of Jonathan Clements as
president of Think Big, Inc. Clements provides the company leadership with
eight years of experience and relationships within the music and
entertainment communities. Clements, replacing Tim Grable, has previously
served in the areas of music artist management and public relations – most
recently with Ambassador Agency. During his career, he has been
instrumental in the development of the careers of Jeff Deyo (of SONICFLOOd),
Geoff Moore, Erin O’Donnell, and Charles Billingsley.
N·Soul Records Partners with Pure Communications Inc.
N·Soul Records (www.nsoul.com) and Pure Communications Inc. (www.purecommunications.net) are finalizing a licensing deal for Pure to use N·Soul music in upcoming projects, including Pure’s production of “Misfits,” the story of Christ told in a modern-day setting.
