A gothic rock metal band band from Poland, that proclaims Christian beliefs is Illuminandi. The group formed in Debica, Poland in 1998. The emphasis in their music is on the stringed
instruments, mainly based on the combination of heavy guitar sounds with classical stringed instruments violins and cello mixed in.
The genre is progressive death metal, much heavier than gothic, and appealing to the doom, death, and gothic crowds, but the lyrics are based on the Bible. Someone has to take the gospel into the darkest corners. Illuminandi may be that beacon.
