Himalaya Crusade is a faith ministries serving to all groups of people and evangelism with church Planting mission, serving the nation for over 34 years. This Mission was founded and Directed by the Late. Rev. Dr. Subhang Sodemba in the view to spread the Good news and uplift the poorer society.
Dr. Sodemba is a fruit of Kalimpong Revival of 1940 ? 1944. He humbly began his ministries in the year 1956 as an Assistant Pastor to the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church till 1964. He pastured there till 1977. The same year was the milestone for Himalaya Crusade as it was officially recognized as an Evangelical society. Then till 10th May 2001 he was a Senior Pastor and the Founder, Director for Himalaya Crusade church and ministries. He believes in the Holy Spirit Ministries, the teaching of Jesus Christ to the congregation on the Full Gospel basis, with the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, in to the body of Christ.
The faith life he followed, by reading the life of Abraham with the inspiration of God. He has pioneered over 250 churches so far in the Himalayan Ranges of West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, other countries like Nepal and Bhutan; Himalaya crusade has gone beyond the Horizon.
We have a women’s wing where we have a lady workers and coming up a new ladies in the ministry. We are have annual womens & childrens convention next year dated 9th to 12 January 2002 at Siliguri.
