If so, Bluefield College invites you to attend its annual Spring Open
House, Saturday, March 20, beginning with registration at 11:30 a.m.
followed by a full day of college experiences and activities.
Following registration, the college will host a Scholar’s Luncheon for
prospective students and their families at noon. After lunch, the school
will present “The Bluefield Experience,” an overview of the academic
programs and services and student activities and organizations on campus. At
2 p.m., prospective students will be introduced to a series of Academic
Opportunities Seminars, designed to help incoming freshmen decide or learn
more about a particular major.
The Spring Open House schedule will also include campus tours, including
treks to classrooms, resident halls and student activity hot spots on campus
at 3 p.m. and personal conferences with admissions and/or financial aid
counselors at 4 p.m.
“Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions a young
person will ever make,” said Tim Havens, BC’s director of enrollment
management. “We invite local high school students who are interested in an
institution that will prepare them for more than just a career to visit our
campus. We invite them to find out more about Bluefield College. Spring Open
House will offer a great opportunity to do just that.”
