Lauren Zook, Director of Development at the Green Hills Family YMCA, spoke at the September 7 meeting of the Nashville City Civitan Club about the upcoming Green Hills YMCA Run for the Hills 5K Run and Neighborhood festival. The 5K run will begin at the Green Hills Family YMCA and continue through the surrounding Green Hills business area and residential neighborhood.
The 9 * 10 * 11 run begins at 7:30 AM, the Senior Walk starts at 7:45, and the Kids’ Fun Run kicks of at 8:30.
The neighborhood festival runs from 8: 00 AM to 1:00 PM and will feature shopping, bounce houses, exhibitions, food and much more family fun for all ages. The 9 * 10 * 11 event benefits the YMCA’s programs and services.
