Do you have a specific Father’s Day tradition?
Well since my siblings and I are all over the place, including my dad who now resides in Mississippi, we all get a time that we can talk at the same time to my dad via phone. It’s a time of fun and memories.
Do you have a Father’s Day quote about someone special, or about the day in general?
I commend my dad for showing 5 boys (his sons) how to first love God, treat women with respect & provide for your family. He is the ultimate example of sacrifice and compassion. Father, Husband, Pastor, and Friend!

Do you have a Father’s Day quote about someone special, or about the day in general?
Becoming a father is one of the greatest joys in life…it is also one of the greatest lessons. I thought I understood God before becoming a dad but I can honestly say being a father has taught me so much about how God sees us. I also thought I understood love before becoming a dad but I can honestly say I did not fully comprehend the depth of love. Our capacity for love and to give love increases exponentially when we become parents. And now when I think of those timeless words: “For God so loved this world that He gave His only begotten Son.” I understand. On this day I want to say, “Happy Father’s Day” to our Heavenly Father for…mistakes and all…His love for us does not change.

What’s the best Father’s Day gift you’ve ever given?
Mom and Dad have a property in Selma, AL out in the country where you have to pass the cows to get there. One year I sent a contractor out to renovate the house. They added a master suite, master bath, and den. I fully furnished the rooms. They say that I built them their own hotel suite.
Do you have a father’s day quote about someone special, or about the day in general?
I found a card with this quote on it, and it is my favorite Father’s Day quote:
“Father’s day is a day for men who have made a lasting impact on someone’s life. It’s a day for good men who are living life the right way and making a difference. It’s a day for men like you.”

Do you have a specific Father’s Day tradition?
On Father’s Day, you can most always find me wrestlin’ with the little ones, playin’ b-ball with my Bella, and eating together as a family at home. Basically, chillin’ and havin’ some fun too.

Something I always keep close in my heart: Anyone can be a Father, but it takes a real man to be a Dad. #youcanmakeit

What’s the best Father’s Day gift you’ve ever given?
One of the most special things I have ever been able to do for my dad is pick out a truck for him one year. This father’s day though, my dad invited me to record and release a duet of “Unforgettable” with him. I’m not sure that can be topped!
