God listens with a different ear;
What is said He doesn’t hear;
He hears the broken heart’s lament,
Listens for the good intent.
Tone deaf singers who would sing,
Voices off-key, wavering,
Do their best to give God praise
God hears in many ways.
Mistakes and glitches in the chorus
Are depressing music for us, but
It doesn’t matter what we hear;
God listens with a different ear.
